v2 Lighting Group, Inc. has been acquired by Architectural Lighting Works

Founded in 2010 and based in Silicon Valley, v2 Lightingdesigns and manufactures modern, high performance, interior and exterior specification-grade, architectural LED lighting fixtures. The Company’s innovative fixtures are built to order with precision engineering and uncompromised quality to meet the demanding requirements ofcorporate offices, as well as sports and convention center facilities.

The Company’s outstanding reputation, focus on long-term relationships with a diverse range of blue-chip clients and efficient manufacturing process made it a fundamentally attractive acquisition candidate.

ALW, an architectural lighting manufacturer based in Oakland, California, has been creating inspiration and illumination since 2005 for clients such as Microsoft, Volkswagen, Tesla, Whole Foods, Nike, and Google. ALW’s portfolio of decorative lighting expanded with the acquisition of Neidhardt in 2017, giving specifiers unparalleled creativity and flexibility in customizing their luminaires. ALW manufactures all products in theirNorth Americafactory, and primarily servesthe United States,Caribbean, and Canadian markets.

This transaction, which is the latest among several recent completions advised by Northern Edge, highlights the firm’s expertise in several areas:
